SCHOOLTRIP TO BEGUES. Cèlia C. (3r ESO C)

BEGUES 2012

Last Thursday we were very excited and sad as well, because this stay in Begues  was going to be our last one. We were talking about our memories from the past and how we enjoyed sharing these events together.

At nine o’clock we parted to ‘’El Bosc Animat’’. There we had to climb to a lot of trees. At first I was a bit scared and I thought that it would be very difficult but, once I started doing it, I realized it was easier than what I expected. Actually, we had a great time!

When we finished this activity we went to ‘’ Catalunya en Miniatura ‘’. There we saw the most important and representative buildings of Catalunya. After all this effort, I was really hungry and, finally, the time for having lunch arrived. Then, when I took my sandwich half of it fell on the floor, but… as I have really nice friends they shared some of their food with me and I could continue with all the activities we still have to do. Afterwards, we went to Begues.

As the day was coming to the end, we had a shower before having dinner. After eating we went to play outside in the dark. At one o’clock we were told to go to sleep, however, we fell asleep at four o’clock.

Next morning, even though we were exhausted, we played a lot and we did every activity that the instructors had prepared for us. At two o’clock we had lunch and afterwards we did a very beautiful workshop. Sadly our last coexistence together was coming to the end. The bus was waiting for us to take us back home.

Even though there is a feeling of sadness inside me, I am very happy for all these years and the opportunity of having shared these great moments with all my friends. Moreover, I am sure that none of us will forget this experience.

SCHOOL TRIP TO BEGUES. Guillem F. (3r ESO C)

BEGUES 2012

First of all we went to the animated forest and my group (5 and 6)  did some games and then it was the time we climbed the trees on zip lines and go for all the challenges we put some very high heights.

At the very end there was a zip line about 50 feet long and Elena S. stayed half a story very rare.

The point is that after we went to Catalonia in miniature and we took (Pol Sushan Gerard Ferreiro and me) some pictures for a contest.

We went and we got Begues and we played free time. It was good for the night because we did a game called Gazpacho and my team won (6). So we had to go find a pot in the woods about 12 at night. What was the good point was that no team found it. In the morning everything was as usual group activities and crafts and then we left.

I want to repeat it!

GIRONA 2012

The trip to Girona was great and very entertaining. We climbed all the stairs of the cathedral (I think there were 91 stairs) and when we got into this, the guide explained that the difference between the stairs  inside the cathedral was the stairs were a cathedral art and other.

We were watching the cathedral until we left and went to a wall and baths where people went to bathe. We saw a witch who was looking down and praying, a sculpture.

Then we were on the streets and in some neighborhoods, that I only remember "The street of the Flies".

But the best part was when we left it alone, and Joel Gerard and I went alone for much of Girona. We were on a bench eating, we kissed the ass of the lioness, crepe and were looking for a good summary to me a great time, both on tour and in the bus, I sat down with Joel, and we laughed a lot. It has been an excursion that I loved.

BEGUES

This year is the last one that we go to Begues, and I enjoyed a lot. On Thursday, all the students of 3rd ESO C met at the entrance of the school at nine o’clock. We didn’t go to Begues directly.

At first we visited “Catalunya en miniatura” and the “Bosc vertical”. We were divided in groups, and I was separated of Guillem and Gerard L, but my group was not bad. I started with the “Bosc vertical”, it wasn’t my first time in this activity, but it was awesome equally.

Then I had to walk beetwen the models of  “Catalunya en miniatura” and made funny phtos with Carles Bada and Arnau Merino. We were the first group, so we were waiting to the other groups like two hours...but we were joking all the time. We had lunch there, and then we went to Begues.

When we arrived we left our luggage in the common room and the monitors taught us a video about soldier boys in Uganda, it was really sad. Then we went upstairs to the rooms to left the luggage, and we were playing football, or basketball or whatever you want until we had shower, before the dinner.

Xavi, the monitor, punished Guillem, Joan and me because we had not a good behavior, and we had to cleaned all the dinning room. We played a funny game called “El gazpacho”, and then we “went to bed”.

We were joking a lot, but at the end, monitors got really angry with us and we stopped. The next day, we did the prayer and then we did the workshop...I’m really clumsy! We had lunch and had free time until we had to came back to Barcelona.

I’m sad because I will not came to Begues never, but the next year....Madrid!

GIRONA

On Friday, we went to Girona, a very nice city. It’s really different Barcelona, because Girona looks older than our city. It’s also smaller than Barcelona.

At first, we take the school bus in the school and we went to Girona. The best jokes are always in the school bus. When we arrived we had breakfast and then we began a turistic tour with a guide around all the old part of the city.

At 12 o’clock the tour finished and the teachers left us free to go wherever we wished, to had lunch, make photos, etc. I went with... you have to guess... Guillem and Gerard !!! Obviously. We didn’t do anything to the history work... but it was really funny. We walked around the streets and we returned to the most important point of the turstic tour: the cathedral...where we made a lot of photos and a lot of jokes to each other.  Teachers said to us that we had to be in a place at 14:45h, we arrived just in time.

Then, we returned to Barcelona, and we also made stupid things in the school bus. I really enjoyed it, but our tutor scolded us throughout the day.

MY LAST WEEKEND. Adirà H. (3r ESO A)

My last weekend was on my holiday’s house. Here I stay many weekends. This house is situate at Costa Brava, exactly in Torroella de Mongrí.

We took the car to go there at 6 o’clock. To arrive there we had to drive 140 km. At half travel, our neighbor called us… We didn’t know why he called us. My mum took his Galaxy quickly and asked what happened… I had curiosity.

When my mum knew what happened… He became sad. Can you imagine what was the situation?
A group of thieves came into our house to steal.

My dad pushed the accelerator of the car.  He went 160 km/h. The police didn’t see him. We were nervious. I started to sleep. I was tired. When we arrived at home we crossed the fingers… We came into the house and...

Our 3 cycles, 3 TV and some food had disappeared… We were sad. My dad though that they had stolen a lot with the objects. But this is not the important, the important is that the house is good, and there aren’t damages. We called at the “Scientific Police” because the had to investigate this case.

The police said that we couldn’t sleep there because they had to take footprints. So we toke the bags and we went to another house that we have got in Platja d’Haro. We passed the night there. The next day we went to buy 3 new cycles and 2 TV’s…

TRIP TO GIRONA

Last Friday I went to Girona, a city in Catalonia. It is a very good city to relax if you are tired to work.

In the morning I woke up at 6.45am. I was very tired and I went to school. We caught de bus and then the travel to Girona started. The travel to go was good because I was listening to music, looking the landscape and talking with my friends.

When the bus stoped we got off. In the morning we had a guide that she explains us the old city; the old walls, the cathedral of Girona, the church and the old streets and their history.

Then our teachers left us alone in the old city to lunch and walk on it. Once we finished lunch, Àlex Jimenez and I went to the cathedral, one hour before we want to back at BCN, I pasted one of my best moments in my life with my friend, with much tranquillity and with a very good weather and that typical air that you thank a lot...

A three quarters of an hour later we went to a shop that we saw beautiful shirts but when we arrived the shop was closed.

We went to the point that we met with the teachers and the rest of the friends to go to the bus to come back to Barcelona; and when we arrived there was nobody. We were scared and I looked my mobile phone to see the watch. And there missed 5 minutes to catch the bus; and we went to the parking of the buses and there wasn’t anybody and we went to the point that we met when suddenly our tutor appeared and he guided us to the bus.

USA EXCHANGE. OUR EXPERIENCE. Anna P. (1r batx B)

MY EXPERIENCE IN MARYLAND

How can we explain all lived in America? There are no words. 12 days without stop doing things, living new experiences, being with people with different custom... unexplained moments.

The first day was already absolutely amazing, a whole day in one of the most beautiful places with my best friend and our two exchange students, with whom we went to Georgetown to eat cupcakes and have lunch next to the river, while we were having fun and talking about Spanish and American life.

Then we went to the barbecue to Julia’s house, where we met all the other girls and danced and laughed together. It was one of the greatest moments.

When we went to school was very funny because the people are very open and immediately they talk and have fun with you, so I was going through the halls and people began talking. The people are very nice. I feel a very big difference between classes. There, the classes are so fun and there aren't many rules.

The Sunday that began the hurricane Sandy, we went to New York, it was one of the best days. We all wanted to go so the girls agreed to go together. There were girls for whom going to New York was a dream. I really wanted but it was not something essential for me, but when I had to raise my head to see the skyscrapers, I realized where I really was. I was in America, in New York.

One day before Halloween, one of American customs, we went to get pumpkins to be cut away. I was very nervous because I had never cut a pumpkin and I thought it would be very bad and it doesn't understand anything in the drawing, but between Maggie and her sister Blair helped me make it and we had a really good time together. That night we roast pipes and watched a movie together with his younger brother that is four years and I fell asleep of tiredness.

Between all these experiences, we also went to see a football game. we were all together enjoying the typical things we see in a movie: the famous mascot team dancing to the music played by the school band, the cheerleaders ... we laughed a lot because we did not think it was really like when we see it in the TV.

I would not stop explaining things because everything was fascinating. In general it has been one of the best experiences and possibly the only chance I'll have to go to America so I have enjoyed the most and I hope to come back  because I have done future plans as searching a job ... with Maggie, my new American sister.

USA EXCHANGE. OUR EXPERIENCE. Anna P. (1r batx A)

FOREIGN EXCHANGE

Three weeks ago I did a students exchange  in USA. It was like a dream for me because I had never imagined that I would go to America. I always had wanted to go to USA and finally it completed.

When I arrived I met my exchange student, Vanessa. Vanessa is like me, but with different figure. Both do the same gestures, we finish to eat at the same time and she likes the same like me: musical theatre and dance. It was amazing when I met. I couldn’t believe that we were very similar!

The first day I was so tired because I had jet lag, but it didn’t matter because I was in Maryland and I couldn’t lose any time. So on sunday I went to Virginia’s Mall with Nuria and her girl, Julia. We ate a burito, but it was so spicy so I couldn’t finish it. Nuria and Julia were laughing a lot because I was crying. It was an horror experience. Later we went to Julia’s house because all the exchange students had a barbaque and it was so funny because we could know the other American students. On Sunday I started the school and the classes were so different: they could go without shoes for the class, they could stand up when they wanted, they could drink water in class and other things. In the afternoon Vanessa had a ceremony of the students that have a high qualifications and it was awesome. The rest of the week I went to school and I did a few of excursions. I have seen great falls, it’s natural park and there is the Potomac river and it is wonderful; I have been to Washington DC and I had visited the Smithoshian museums: the air and space museums and the sciences museum, and the Wasinghton monument. I have seen the union station too.

Every evening I went to musical theatre because Vanessa did it. I was fascinated because they did very well. The musical was about a radio program and they sung songs and danced tap. I wanted to do it but I couldn’t.

The best day trip was on Sunday. I went to New York City, it was unbelievable. I got up at 4.30 am and I took the bus at 7 am in Bethestta. The drive to NY was long (4 hours on the bus), but I could sleep. When I saw the city for the first time I started to cry because I couldn't believe that I was there. It was like a dream for me. I had a feeling as if I was in a movie. First, we bought hot chocolate because it was really really cold and then we took the subway and we went to see the statue of Liberty. Later we could see the memorial of the twin tours. It was really sad because there, in the ground zero, were the names of people that died. We ate a sicilian pizza, it was so good. And finally, Times Square and Broadway! I don't have words to describe my feelings at that moment. And last but not least, we had lunch in a Broadway restaurant: Stardust. I was excited because the restaurant had a 50's theme and there were people singing. We were very tired because we had been walking all day so when we took the bus home all started to sleep. It was an amazing and fantastic day!

The sad moment was the last day because I didn’t want to leave. I was crying all the time.

Now I feel that I have found I friend for all my life and I feel too that Vanessa is the sister that I will never have.

OUR DREAM HAS COME TRUE

All started at 20th October when we arrived at the airport.

We took the plane to London. During this flight I was thinking the first thing I would say when I arrived Dulles. Finally we arrived in London and we took the other plane to USA!! In this flight I saw some films, none of them complete. It made me very long because I couldn’t wait the moment that I arrived

Finally we left the plane and we were in USA! I couldn’t believe it, but it was true, we were in America! We passed the security and we were waiting for the baggage and altogether opened the door and started walking to our hosts. When I saw them I had goosebumps. I met Maddie and her mother Karen. We went to their house with Paula and her host Marie and her father. When we arrived I met her family: her father Curtis and her brother Brian and her sister Allie.

On Sunday we woke up at 10am, we had breakfast and we went to the mass. After that we came home and we prepared for the barbecue at Julia’s house.

Monday was the first day of classes. The school (Our Lady of Good Counsel High School) was enormous! It has three floors with long corridors. First, we did a game that consisted of a paper to follow some instructions and find some different places of the school. Then I went to the theatre and environmental classes. When we had finished them we went to the café which is like in the movies and after I went to some other classes. After the school we went to home and we did some homework. When she finished them she showed me her yearbook and she told me that some of the students of their school had been to the Olympics.

On Tuesday we woke up at the same hour and we went to the school. There I went with Anna and her host Fiona to the Spanish class. Five minutes before we finished the class the teacher said to Anna and me that we needed to go to the main office. There we met with the other exchange students and after our hosts went there to.

We took the bus and we went to Great Falls. First we went to the part of Virginia and we were walking for some time. Then we took the bus and other time and we went to the part of Great Falls that were in Maryland. When we arrived we had lunch and while we were having lunch some bees appeared and it was so funny because some of us were scared. And we had finished the lunch we were walking and we came back to the bus and we went to the school. That afternoon we went to our house with Anna and we were talking until Fiona came. After we had had dinner we did some pop corn and we saw pretty, little liars.

On Wednesday we woke up an hour later because they started at 9. We went to the school where we took the bus and we went to the subway. We went to the Pentagon City Mall and after to the Union Square. We returned to the school. When they had finished their classes Maddie and I went home. That evening for dinner we went to Mamma Lucia which it is a fantastic Italian restaurant. I ate a pizza, but it was so big so we took it for home.

On Thursday we went to Washington DC with some hosts where we saw the Smithsonian, to the “Museum of Natural History”. We saw the Washington Monument and the White House too. We returned to the school and then we went home. After a short time we went to the costume shop and I took my costume.

On Friday we had classes too. On the afternoon I went with Maddie and Anna to take the pumpkins.

After we went to the field of screams! It was so excited! We had to walk through the forest while some people of Maryland had been hiding behind the trees and they frightened us and we had to go into houses of horror too during the walking. When we had finished we sat around the fire and we were talking until we had to go home.

On Saturday I went with my family to the mass and after I went with Maddie and her mother to the mall. On the afternoon we went to the school to see the match. It was so cool.

On Sunday we went to New York! I couldn’t believe my eyes, we were there! Another dream came true. We were walking on the streets of this wonderful city. We visited the monument of 9/11 and I bought the presents to my family. It was a fantastic day!

On Monday and Tuesday I stayed at home because there was the hurricane Sandy. We saw that it was raining and was blowing very hard. On Monday I had dinner with my host family. Then I played a game with Maddie and her sister Allie. Finally I was watching a movie with them and we went to bed. On Tuesday I cut my pumpkin with all the family for Halloween.

On Wednesday we went to the Aquarium of Baltimore and in the afternoon… Guess what! We went to a Halloween party! We went “Trick or treating”. On the evening I did my baggage and I was very sad thinking about my return to Barcelona.

On Thursday we did more classes and we returned home. I said goodbye to Brian and Allie. We went to the school and we had dinner all the exchanged students and our hosts. They put a video with some photos of the trip and most of us cried. After that we wrote our experience and what we thought. I said goodbye to Maddie’s mother.
We went to the airport and I said goodbye to Maddie’s father. There we were waiting a short time and we had to say goodbye to our hosts. I was heartbroken to leave Maryland but I couldn’t cry (I don’t know why). When I didn’t see her, I burst into tears. We took the plane and we came here.

Now, I’m waiting the day that they come here and I hope  their visit is as special as  mine was.

USA EXCHANGE. OUR EXPERIENCE. Anna A. (1r batx B)

I'm still recovering from what I experienced a few weeks ago. One of my greatest dreams came true and I think I  will never be able to describe how I felt second by second, the inside of me was a burst of energy and emotions that I could only express to the outside through smiles or tears of happiness, because I was short with words.
Not to forget what I’ve lived there or feeling, I wrote a diary, where I wrote almost daily. And here is a summary of what I lived for the longest time I've been sleeping, dreaming:

October 21, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Wow I just woke up and I cannot believe it! I am the happiest person in the world! I'm in America and I will be there for 12 days!
Yesterday was a great day. We went to Barcelona’s airport at 11am. I said goodbye with a bit of pain to my parents, my sister and my grandma, especially I was sad for my grandma because she lives alone and I do a lot of company to her every lunch!
I hope they’ll be well these days!

Around 3 o'clock in the afternoon we arrived in London! And there we came to Washington DC! We arrived there in our 2h in the morning, but I was awake, I had not slept since the night before but I did not want to sleep because I didn’t want to lose a second watching what I was living!

Wow! The airport was! We spent all controls and after, there they were expecting us  with banners and Fiona gave my a balloon! When Fiona saw me she made me a hug with a smile! I think we were both feeling the same! Pure happiness! It was gorgeous! She presented me his mother, Francesca, also hugged me. She also introduced Maddie ( Laura’s student exchange) and some others that I do not remember because we went back home very fast. At first I was embarrassed in the car, but only a minute, because they were so friendly with me! I tried to speak the best I could, and I started to ask questions and explain a little of my life. And the house, the house is so beautiful! It’s not the greatest but I loved it! I felt very comfortable, as my home! It is all decorated for Halloween! There I met my host father, Jesse, and my American brother, Patrick. I also met the grandmother, who lives in the basement, and she was very nice too! She speaks Spanish and all! Because she was reporter and she’d lived many years in South America!

They said to me that we will go to New York Sunday!!!!!! This is too much! Two dreams come less than two weeks!? I think that I won’t be able to assimilate all that. I only stay here one night and everything is even better than I expected, and my expectations were not bad! Gosh I do not want to wake up from this dream!

Today we have the BBQ! We will see what happens!
By the moment, I give to this day an A++++!!!

October 22, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

The BBQ (yesterday) was amazing! We all know and now I well remember the names! It was very funny because I think all Americans are like their students! Especially Laura and Maddie, I find that they are very similar!

Today, we’ve gone to school. Our Lady of Good counsel is incredible! I love it! But at first it has been very embarrassing entering at the school, because they all wear uniforms and we have not worn it, so people looked at us weird! Fiona has brought me the box office, as it is the junior is on the second floor and we had to cross I do not know how many corridors and stairs! I was dead embarrassed! There I was introduced to many people, and I cannot remember anyone! Too much information! What I do remember is that everyone is lovely, very polite and they have fun if we say something in Catalan! Some people on the corridors have said Hello to us in Spanish! It was amazing, very funny! We did a tour of the school and we lost! But we found ourselves because teachers helped us a lot.

The room of lunch is awesome! It has a buffet! Corner of salads, chicken corner, the corner of pasta ... Incredible! And besides, all delicious!

After lunch, we went to class psychology and Fiona had a quiz. In the class of environmental, the people were crazy! They ate, listened to music, they drunk Pepsi, and they went to the bathroom when they wanted and they come back after a long time! In addition, they removed their shoes! I was surprised! I thought they were tougher in America, and they are not! I love how they speak! I hope to talk like them someday!
When I get home I have had a Skype with my family and we were very happy to see each other!
And finally we have a ceremony for students with the greatest marks and Fiona was one of them. Outside the gym, there was food, many cookies and Oreos! We joined them after Fiona's rehearsal on theater and I went to dinner with my host mom at M.C. Donald’s!! We have been talking the whole time quietly! She is very friendly and treats me like her daughter! I love this place!

A 10 day!

October 24, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Yesterday we went to the Great Falls and it was a very nice place, it was so quiet and calm and I loved it! But I prefer staying in the school! Because I enjoy the way that they work in class! It’s very dynamic!

Well today we’ve gone to the Mall and it was so stressful! We haven’t got enough time! And after we’ve gone to the Union Station, but I haven’t bought anything! Everybody has come back with a lot of clothes and presents, but I haven’t found anything! Maybe because I like saving up money!
In the afternoon I’ve seen Fiona at the POMS! It’s a group of girls that dance at the half time of the games of football! They are awesome!!!!! I was astonished!!!

And just right now, we arrive from another mall, where we have eaten a piece of pizza! Delicious! Another 10 day!!!

October 25, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Today... WASHINGTON D.C!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited because one of my favorite TV show is recorded here in Washington! So I wanted to see all what I’d seen on the TV before!! Oh my God! I don’t know what to write! I don’t have any words! I’ve liked Washington so much! We’ve been in two museums!

I loved the first one that was the museum of the air and space!! (When I was a child I wanted to be an astronaut and I used to read a lot of books about this topic se I’ve loved the museum! It’s been so interesting for me!).

In the afternoon I’ve gone with Laura, Maddie and the father of Maddie, to buy pumpkins!! It’s been so funny! I’ve been so scared to catch one because there a lot of insects around the pumpkins!!! And I hate insects! Well, I don’t hate them; I’m so terrified of them!!! So the woman that was selling the pumpkins, has given me a plastic bag, I suppose because she’s seen my scared face!!

Anyways I liked the place!
I’m in a movie! I feel like I’m the character of a teenage movie! Like high school Musical (without singing all the time!) or any TV shows of American teenagers!!
Good night!! Another 10 day!!!!! I don’t want to go to sleep because I think that if I go to bed I will lose time!! And I don’t want the end of this dream!

October 26, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Today is Friday and everyone has been so happy! We’ve gone to the school! And in the evening… We have just gone to the field of screams! It was so exciting! We have walked through a wood, and a volunteer people of Maryland have been hiding behind the trees or houses and they’ve scared us! Mariona and I have been at the end of the group because we don’t get scared easily, so we’ve let Laura and Núria to stay in the middle. Laura was crying before to enter! At the end they recognized that it wasn’t too scary.

We laugh a lot and we have a lot of fun!

October 27, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Today we are going to go to the TEEN ANGEL PROJECT! My host mum, Francesca, this June had the idea of make different groups of teenagers that wanted to perform, and sing, dance… for poor or ill people! I think that it’s a wonderful idea! Bye, I’m leaving!
The rehearsal was excellent! I record some songs because I was so impressed! My God their voices are incredible! I want to sing like them!!!
In the afternoon I went with Francesca, Patrick and Jesse to Kevin’s party, the uncle of Fiona, Jesse’s brother. It was an Irish party! Fiona could not come because they had to act for the night at halftime of the football game, so I was nervous! But in the end it wasn’t bad! The whole family is adorable! They treated me so well, they asked, and spoke a little bit in Spanish and it was hilarious!

After we went to the game! I Love football but I didn’t understand at all the way that they play their football. There were a lot of players at the outline! It was so exciting to be on an American football game! And Fiona performed with their group at the half time, and they were absolutely wonderful

Another perfect day! Today I want to sleep because tomorrow I’m going to go to NEW YORK! But I think that I won’t be able to sleep because I’m so nervous, I can’t believe what is going to happen tomorrow. Good night!

October 28, 2012                                          30 Thomas DR, Silver Spring (MD)

Start spreading the news
I am leaving today
I want to be a part of it
NEW YORK, NEEEWWW YOOOORK!!!! (Frank Sinatra)
Today is a day that I’ve been expecting for a lot of years of my life! I’m going to tell you later how it was!
…………
I don’t know with what start!!!
For the beginning! We get the bus at 7 am! We stayed there for 4 hours but I couldn’t sleep!! On the bus was Wi-Fi so I phone my parents with Skype when we were arriving in New York, because I wanted to be with them the first time that I was there. And when I saw the Empire State and the Chrysler from the window I started to cry! I couldn’t stop, I was shaking! (I’m crying again now writing this!) And my parents were calming me! But they were so happy to see that I was so delighted! I tried to talk with them but I couldn’t, I only could watch through the window the wonderful city.

When we entered to the city it was too much for me! (Oh I’m so sensible! But I can’t do anything! If I’m excited I cry!) I said goodbye to my parents and we went out the bus.

My legs were shaking and I could hardly breathe! Francesca and Fiona hugged me a lot of times but I couldn't believe my eyes! It was a very nice dream. We took a lot of photos! We saw the Statue of Liberty, Zero Zone, Empire State, and we spent the most time in Times Square! I was in a movie! When we arrived there I started to cry again and I could only say thanks to Francesca and Fiona, I was so grateful! They were so happy to see that I was astonished with all!

We went to dinner in a restaurant where the waiters sung live while they were serving food! And we had to left New York early because they were scared of the Hurricane Sandy.

We had a good return travel and I went to sleep after I told my parents all what I felt during the day!
There isn't a large enough number to qualify the day of today, the wonderful day!

I wasn’t wrong this morning!! We were all so excited today! And we have had a lot of fun in the party and tricking or treating! I’ve eaten a lot in the party! Hamburger, cupcakes, cucumber, French fries, kit Kat, M&ms…!!!!!!  And we met people of Our Good Counsel! They were so friendly! And they aren’t shy!!

The last day was the saddest!! In the airport we were all very sensitive! And we all cried when we said goodbye to each other with hugs! I think that we’ve met great friends there!
I miss my host family a lot! And the dog Reilly! The most beautiful and sweet dog I've ever known! I love them and they will always be in my heart because they are very good people!!  For 13 days they made me feel like one more of their adorable family! I can’t wait to see them!!!!
I can only say Thank you to them, for helping me to fulfill my dreams, for accepting me in their house, for give me the chance to meet them and for let me be part of this sweet family.
Thank you for all!
