A BURGLAR ENTERED IN A HOUSE, STOLE A LOT OF THINGS, FORGOT THE MOBILE PHONE… AND CALLED TO RECUPARE IT.

A burglar stole in a house, but the loss of his mobile phone drive him (without knowing it) to the police. When he was running away he lose his phone, so he decided to call to the phone to localize it. But the police found it, so thanks to the call they could arrest the burglar. He had stolen 571€, a mobile, a wallet and many objects.

AN AUSTRALIAN SPENT 100.000€ TO APPEAL AGAINST A FINE OF 250€

Mustafa Al Shakarji of Queensland (Australia) doesn’t want to  pay a fine of speeding, but he has spent 100.000€ to prove by legal way that he didn’t commit this infraction. A radar detected  that he was driving at 88Km/h in a zone of 60Km/h. He demies that he was going at 88Km/h. Although his driving licence  isn’t in risk, he wants to show that the police is wrong. Al Shakarji is the first Australian to impugn a speeding fine in the High Court.

In February, in Tremañes (Gijón) a lorry hit a radar on Juvería’s avenue. The dispositive suffered many hits that broke its structure. At night, the owner of the lorry stole the radar and sold it mixed with other things to a cementery of cars. The police arrested the presumed author of the crime, but they are searching if he acted alone or with the collaboration of other people.

A LOVE STORY

I have never seen such a united and faithful couple as Matthew and Rachel. They now live happily in Dedham, Essex. However, they had to overcome difficult obstacles in order to be peacefully together. I will proceed to explain a true love story of that relationship.

Matthew and Rachel met each other at LSE University when they were both studying economics. They both had no difficulties in taking the degree, so they could manage to spend a lot of time together.

Those were years of absolute happiness. There was not a day when they did not see each other. They went to the cinema several times, had lunch and dinner, and travelled all across the United Kingdom during their free time. In fact, they got on one another perfectly and knew everything about their relationship. There had never been lies between them, and love was growing continuously.

Nevertheless, something changed their coming future. Rachel received a grant to continue studying at Harvard University, and Matthew did not. Even though they tried to make whatever so that they could see each other more often, it was not possible.

During her stay in the United States, Rachel met a guy named Tom. At first, she considered him only a friend, but he started approaching her over and over again until something began between them. It was like if Rachel had already forgotten Matthew and was living a new relationship.

Suddenly, Matthew flew to Massachusetts in order to make a surprise and to be with Rachel for a weekend. When she saw him, she felt absolutely astonished. She tried to hide she had a new boyfriend, but in the end everything was found out. He felt highly humiliated and decided to return to England. On the other hand, she felt extremely guilty. Then, a dilemma was in the air. She had two options, and not a lot of time.

She did not think about it for too much, and after listening to her heart, she immediately went to London to see her true love of her life, Matthew. He forgave her as she left her studies at Harvard. She realised that it was not worth to study in one of the best universities in the world if that prevented her from being with whom she loved the most. To sum up, being with him is what made her happier.

Nowadays, Matthew and Rachel live together and are happily married and have two children. Their relationship is an example of what true love is. It is a love which can fight against any kind of obstacle and capable of overcoming it.

LOVE STORY

All begins when Briana moved to LA, she was really afraid to change her habits but her parents had found a job in LA and the whole family had to move. Briana has a little brother called Dylan and he is very friendly and he doesn’t have problems to relate to people. He is the opposite to his sister. Briana is 17 year old, has green eyes and is brunette, she measures 1,65m and is thin and has cuties freckles in her cheeks. She has perfect features and she loves dancing, acting and going with her skateboard.

The new house was very big and beautiful. Immediately a neighbor’s couple comes to introduce their selves. They are very politely and friendly, they told them they had a son called Ethan, the same age as Briana and they could be friends.

Ethan is the typical popular and rugby player. He is very handsome and all the girls want to be his girlfriend. But he is not interest in any girl of the high school. Briana doesn’t see him already, because she was preparing her things for the new school and a cool look for the next day, when she saw him. A perfect boy, brunette with green eyes very tall and strong, he was shirtless. In this moment Briana was in shock, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She spent a lot of her time looking at him and finally she went to sleep.

It comes the first day of school. She puts her clothes on and puts on her make up. When she was ready, the bus picked up her and took her and the other students to the school. She was sitting alone when a girl approached to her and sits to the seat near Briana and she introduced herself with the name of Catherine.

They were talking all the way to the school. And Catherine showed her all the school. Fortunately they coincided in the same class and Ethan too. The first day, all was very good and she went with Ethan to their house, and Briana was very happy for that. He was very friendly and he said to Briana he would talk to her that night. Briana was doing homework when she looked out of her window and saw him doing homework as well. He looked up and wrote in a paper hello, she answered him as well. All the days and night they spoke as the same way.

One day Briana was looking through the window when she saw a couple kissing to each other, when she realized that was Ethan with the stupid girl of the high school. At that moment her heart had broken and tears ran down her cheeks. All the days, his stupid girlfriend was going too picked up him with her super cool Lamborghini. 

Every time that Briana passed across where they were, Jessica kissed him in front on her face to made her angry and felt bad. And Jessica got her goals. The end of the high school was coming and Briana didn’t have a partner for the high school dance. She was talking with Ethan in a bench; she asked him why he was with Jessica if he was not interested in any girl. Ethan answered he didn’t loved her but he was with her to get jealous one girl, and he felt in love with her as the same moment that she arrived to near house.

Briana is too innocent that didn’t understand the indirect. When Ethan was trying to kiss her, Jessica arrived and saw the situation. She insulted Briana that went to her house crying as the same time that Ethan and Jessica were having an argument. Ethan broke up with Jessica the same day.

The next day was the dance. At the night Ethan asked Briana, as the same way that they normally do, if she would go to the high school party. Briana answered that she couldn’t go because he had to study, and made a sad face. Ethan answered it would not the same without her, and he left his room.

Ethan wore a black suit and he was talking with some friends when he turned back and saw her. Briana was beautiful, was more than that, she wear a large with dress with her free brunette hair. They were getting closed when she opened out a paper where that it was written I LOVE YOU, he did the same and in his paper put I LOVE YOU as well. They get closer another time, and when they were closed enough they kissed at last.

Hi Juliette,

The other day when I was surfing in the net, I remembered that day when you explained me that people said your hairstyle can say something about you so I decided to search if I found something.

And I entered to a Cosmopolitan article about: “20 things your hairstyle says about you” and really it was funny. 

As it says I’m innovative and creative because I have wavy hair as Shakira. Do you think it is true and I’m as the article says? If I had  super short wash-and-go hairstyle it would mean I didn’t want to fuss over things in life, including your hair. 

Well, I compare it with you and your hairstyle means you’re probably a perfectionist. It’s true!!! You’re too much perfectionist. I’m starting to think that really your type of hair means something about your personality, it is a bit strange, isn’t it? 

Well, I have to say it sometimes says that if you do a braid or a pigtail it says another thing about you. Probably they invent it but it matches with you.

What your hairstyle says about you

Dear Francis,

Not long ago I came across with an article which described the personality of men according to their hairstyle. I’m not the kind of guy who puts a lot of attention into these things but this particular article caught my attention.

This article described the personality that the "owners" of that hairstyle had. The article included hairs from an afro style to a man bun or a top knot. They describe their personality but it seems a description more stereotyped than an actual description according to some research.

One example of this is the classic side parting type of hair. In the article it says that this type of hair is used by persons who are traditionalist and like to play it safe.

The article caught my attention in the first place because of this. This kind of prejudice may influence a person who actually believed this. This kind of article foments this and it’s a misconception of people’s personality.

In my opinion physical appearance is just the facade of a person and as a facade it can be adorned with things that don’t go accordingly to the interior of it. So trying to define a person for their hair that it isn’t even their whole facade is just a thing for those who are superficial and ignorant.

So what do you think about this? Do you think the same as me or is your opinion different?

Hi Anna!

I am writing to you because these last days I can’t stop seeing photos of men hairstyles in internet. I think now I’m obsessed with men’s hair. So I want to share with you my favourite men hairstyles.

I’m showing you the ones that I liked the most. This first one is my favourite. As you can see, this guy has degraded hair in his head sides and a short quiff.

This one is the same as my favourite, but the only difference is that the sides are longer, I mean, he hasn’t a degraded hair and he has enough quantity of hair in his sides.

This third is nice too. This boy hasn’t got a degraded hair. He has short hair in the sides and large hair in his pompadour.

This boy has nice hair. He has a good quantity of hair and he knows how to comb it. I don’t know why but this hair makes him look cute and nice.

Harry Styles used to have this nice curly hair. I think this hair has a lot of personality and talks by itself. It must be difficult to comb it but he knows how to do it. I have to say that this hair doesn’t look good in all boys.

Finally, I wanted to share this haircut with you. I think this looks good in gentlemen. It’s like a classic haircut with a lot of personality too. He has a good quantity of hair too.

How are you?

We haven’t talked for a long time! I’m now reading the news and I’ve found and article which talks about your personality depending on your hair and I think you will like it.

This article says that if you have red hair it means you are a funny person, so I think that’s not your case. I’m not going to tell you all those tips because I won’t ever finish. But according to your hairstyle, which is curly but you tend to straighten it, it means your life is too chaotic and you need to calm down.

I fully agree with it because you’re always stressed and you should have a break in your life. I remember last time we met, we were talking after a long time without seeing each other and you left because your dog had veterinary.

While I’m reading the article I have just found one tip that says if you have  different and original hair, it means you’re a funny person and your sister has appeared to my mind now. It’s incredible how this post says the truth! She is always laughing and making funny jokes to the rest of the people.

Ups! I’m late! I’m meeting my dad at his office at 9:00 a.m.

The other day, my brother Marc told me that when one football player scored a goal,  the same day or one day after there died a famous.

Okey, it sounds so strange but it’s real. And I decided to search for information about this. 

The poor player is Aaron Ramsey, In 2009 the first famous died, and from these date other famous players died when he scored a goal. In 2009, when he scored his first goal, after two days De Nigris (he was a Mexican footballer) died. And the years passed and every goal that he scored, a famous person dies. 

On May 1, 2011, the Welshman scored in the victory of the Gunners against Manchester United. The next day, Barack Obama, US president announced the death of the famous Islamic terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Obviously nobody then linked the two events.

On October 2 of that year Ramsey scored again, this time against Tottenham. Three days later, Steve Jobs, creator of Apple, died after a long battle against cancer. Another chance.

However, just two weeks later, on October 19, the Welshman scored the winning goal for Arsenal against Olympique Marseille in a match of the Champions League. The next day Muammar Kadhafi Libyan dictator died at the hands of the rebel militia. The issue began to be more than curious.

In February 2012, Ramsey signed a goal against Sunderland. Just one hour later the death of Whitney Houston was world news.

In March of that same year, the Arsenal midfielder scored his country, Wales, in the win against Scotland. That same day the death of Cuban pianist Bebo Valdes met.

On August 5, 2012, at the Olympic Games in London, Ramsey scored with Britain against South Korea. The next day died Mexican singer Chavela Vargas.

On 14 May 2013 the London club footballer was one of the scorers in the 4-1 to Wigan'. Two days later died Argentine.

In September, Ramsey scored again vs Olympique de Marseille, and then the death of boxer Ken Norton, who was famous for defeating the legendary Muhammad Ali.

On November 30, 2013, he scored a goal vs Cardiff City, and that same day the actor Paul Walker dies in a traffic accident that turned the world through social networks.

 When the 'curse' was already much more than a joke. Sunday Arsenal the first title of the course was to beat Manchester City 3-0 in the final of the disputed Community Shield at Wembley.

Indeed, Aaron Ramsey scored one of the goals ... and a few hours later, on Monday night, the world received as an impact of the death of universally famous actor Robin Williams.

And this year In the 9 of January, Ramsey scored a goal and two days after David Bowie died.

And the last one is in 13 of January, when Aaron scored a goal, the day after Alan Rickman dies.

These are some examples of people who is afected with this ‘’curse’’.

But I don’t know how people die, because he is so handsome!!!

SOCIAL MEDIA POWER TO MANIPULATE

It is believed by many people that technology goes on every day. It is surrounding us right now, indeed: computers, cell phones or cameras. All this kind of media communication is becoming more popular and necessary in this “Techworld”. Nevertheless, have we asked ourselves what this means?

I would like to consider the fact of being informed most of the time. Thanks to social media not only is it giving information about what is happening right now around the world, but what is more, it is helping and encouraging us to be more cultivated, and  as far as I’m concerned, to get used to reading more press about any topic. Should not social media exist, would we be conscious about what is happening in our surroundings? Furthermore, we should also consider the fact that you can consult any article of any day in an easier way due to they are all saved on the net, hence, you have access to all the information, articles, reviews or even photographic reports that the media have posted, that way you can read the articles you like, as long as you have an internet connection.

However, there are also disadvantages. Since the internet started arriving at most of the people it has made our life easier, although, it has also made easier to a few minority to manipulate all the information we read. Have we ever thought why on our social networks appears a determinate kind of information about an ideology? The answer is that we are shown the information that big companies and influences they want us to read. Certainly internet has a lot of benefits, however, are we as free as we should be if they manipulate the information we read? We have to be sane and rational about what articles we consult, because they may be manipulated.

New media, as all in life, has good points and bad ones, nevertheless, we should look for a balance between the strengths and the weaknesses. Undoubtedly, would we do more to prevent this manipulation.

I’m writing this letter because I want to express my feelings. We have been friends since very young, we have shared many happy and sad moments. 

You've been my best friend; you have accompanied me and have helped me in hard moments, and in the happy moments you were also there. 

So Charlotte, these last weeks we have been very close and I could not have avoided remaining astounded in your look, your brown eyes make me be impressed and your hands put the goose-flesh to me. For time I have wanted to say this to you but I did not know how to do it, whenever you look at me or hug me, my heart beats to 10000 km/h. 

Charlotte, you’re the only one that has my heart in your hands, I love you and I’ll never stop doing it because you’re special, different, you’re the only one. I’m sorry if you don’t like this way to say this but Charlotte understand me, I don’t have many opportunities to express my feelings towards you.

NO MORE STAN SMITH SNEAKERS

Yesterday, 12 of April, California State government approved a law which said that the sale of A.S.S.  sneakers model will be controlled.

“Through the past months I had seen more of those sneakers in the streets than sand in the beach and I’m so irritated with this situation that I decided to forbid the massive sale of S.S. sneakers. Teenagers need to show their personality wearing exclusive shoes like the ones you can customize in the N. web or in N. shops, that’s why I purposed the law and we approved it.”

-That’s what the governor said in the press conference-

Governor’s statements were so polemic that the social networks blew up with comments about whether N. had paid him to say that or not.

A.’ defenders scheduled protests every day of the week and they reported N. for buying the governor’s words. On the other hand N.’s fans were sure that the company hadn’t paid extra money to anyone.

However, a lot of kids had lost the chance to be in style and from now on they will have to buy other sneakers.

The law also said that if cops see a group of 5 people or more wearing the same kind of sneakers or the same sweater they will have to pay a fine of 100$.

It’s important to be informed but more important it is to be well informed. Newspapers and magazines are two good ways to be informed but they really give us truthful information or they just report the one they want? The media tell us fake facts instead of the real ones or they just omit information?

From my point of view, to have all the true info, we should contrast the news we read in newspapers or magazines but not everybody has enough time to do that. The internet is the fastest way to get information and is it also free. For this reason, I believe that it is the best media to read the news. It’s a really handy media but you don’t have to let yourself be fooled by it because there are a lot of hoaxes all over the internet. Another problem of the internet is that everybody has access to it so anyone could spread a fake news.

In conclusion, every media has its pros and cons and I wouldn’t be able to say which one has more mistakes or say less the truth.

It’s a necessity for everyone who wants to be a good citizen, to be informed of what happens around the world. Although nowadays we’ve got lots of channels, it’s important to watch the news.

It’s a reality that it’s more comfortable to know about conflicts through Twitter, Facebook or whatever other social network. However, we have to be careful of which information we read like a truth. It’s not the same if you have been informed by an online newspaper than by a personal user. And I have to say that online newspapers are a real good idea because you know the news at the moment.

So I do not agree with this affirmation: “Social networks give us truth.” Because, another question, are images. How can we know that the source of a picture is true? It’s not a joke a picture that shows the war.

To conclude, we have to be more conscious about the importance of receiving news. We should be cautious on which media we use to be informed.

Social media

Social media has made communication much easier, but with every advantage there comes a disadvantage, and here I am, telling every disadvantage it can possibly have because it’s funnier than talking about positive things.

First of all, I will start by talking about misinformation, what’s misinformation? So it’s when someone posts fake information on the internet, and how can we avoid it? We can’t. Well, the best thing to do in case you doubt about the veracity of any information, you should contrast it with another source. But it’s not always useful because when fake information goes on the internet,   this information spreads and news departments from twitter use to upload every data they see without knowing if it’s true.

The other disadvantage I see in the new way to communicate news is that conventional media is disappearing, I loved to read the newspaper (usually sports ones) when I sat on a bar with my parents, but now there are not or not as much as they used to be. And now people don’t usually watch news on the television, because they have twitter, and I used to have a lot of discussions with my parents when watching the news, and I loved it.

So, in conclusion, there are a lot of advantages but these two disadvantages that I mentioned before saddens me so much that prefer to go back in time and get this things back.

Between two love stories

28^th of January

We have just broken up. I’m not sure of what I’m feeling right now. I think I hate him because he has been cheating on me for a long time, but I feel like I can’t because, after all this time, I still love him and all the things we did together when we were a cute couple, but I just can’t say if it was real or not. Was he lying when it all started? Well I can’t make myself clear right now.

12^th of February

Sally told me that while she was gossiping out there, she saw him talking to a friend and telling him that he was really sorry for everything that happened a month ago. I know I don’t have to think about it because he hurt me, but I don’t know how to explain it. Let’s think about the right side of this, now I can relax myself at home, read all the books I wanted to read, I go more with my friends and, of course, I have met new people.

PS: I need to stop thinking about him. It has been almost a month!

15^th of March

It’s almost spring and when spring comes love does too! This is what I’ve been thinking all day while teachers were speaking. I was trying to convince myself, it didn’t work. Now, I have definitely understood that I don’t need him to live, I haven’t seen him in two months and my life keeps going on so, nothing to worry about. I’ve tried to meet new people but I like them as friends not as anything else. Well, I have decided I won’t look for love until it comes to me by himself (I mean love, I don’t want Simon again in my life ever). I am also really happy because this holidays will be so funny. I’m going with Ashley to her vacation house on the beach.

20^th of April

All my exams were really good, these weeks studying hard have made their result. I’m so happy! In one month I will have my final grades and I will just focus on holidays and the beach, parties and everything that summer has! I have been angry with Pete because he went with Sally to the cinema not saying anything to me. I don’t know why I acted like this, I mean he can do whatever he wants but I felt bad when he didn’t say anything to me. I don’t know what to think about myself now. Well this week and after four months without seeing him I found him on the park, he was with his friends (and obviously with my cousin who is his best friend and introduced us a year and a half ago). I know he has seen me but he didn’t say anything, but I did, well I said just hello to my cousin, but he was who was cheating on me so he was who had to greet me! Well it doesn’t matter it just happened and it didn’t even affect me so… I assume I have got it over.

30^th of August

This holidays have been the best of my life. I’m really sure about that! When I finally ended school, I worked for a month on my favourite shop, so I had money and a lot of clothes that I love. This part wasn’t the best because when I went to Ashley house… It was from far the best part. The first days we sunbathed ourselves like all the hours the sun was in the sky. We also swam on the beach which had a really clear water and with the perfect temperature. And when it was the middle of the month, the night parties started and we lived during the night only. One of these days (we could say night better than days), while I was dancing someone came and danced with me, I couldn’t recognize him at the beginning but then I could see that it was Pete. I asked why he was there and he told that he was staying at a friend’s house and I thought that he was just like me, so we started going out with his friend and I don’t know how Ashley finished dating Pete’s friend and I dated Pete. I thought it was just a summer story but then I remembered that time when I was angry with him and I realised that I was in love with him, so I told him to leave me alone because I couldn’t be with him because I was falling in love! And when he told that he was too… It was amazing. Definitely the best summer of my life.

“A Love Story”

It’s the year 2153, and the Mankind is starting to plan something in order to leave the Earth in the following 35 to 50 years, and get to the closest inhabitable planet.

All the space agencies are working together to create a fleet of spaceships big enough to carry everyone in the world, now that population has decreased because, more or less a hundred years ago, people became more and more obsessed with the things they had, and eventually forgot that there were other things such as friendships, or love. Children were just created as a result of a world government’s campaign to remember the population to procreate, but it was never because of love.

Children weren’t being raised properly, they were just being taught how to live the life, and understanding their world and its priorities.

It wasn’t a whole world phenomena, but a big part of the world saw its population decreased widely, which was surprisingly good for the economies, but these got affected by the “everyday-I-need-to-buy-something” trend that the world was being through, so it eventually got worse, and pollution got worse every time. Factories produced more and more every day, and it got to the point that the world couldn’t resist the rhythm anymore and it got out of hand.

So now, NASA and other space agencies, are working together to prepare everything to save the world. They need materials, engineers, controllers and, perhaps the most important thing, astronauts.

The first two selected for the first travel to our new home, to see how it’d go, are Marla and Tyler.

They didn’t know each other before the training began, and they didn’t fit too well one with the other, but they were the best, so they were selected.

As the day was coming, the two astronauts began working together, and when the day was there, their relationship was not what we could say ideal, because they both had similar, strong characters, and they repelled themselves.

But the spacecraft left the Earth’s, and both of them looked at the Earth from a point of view that very few people have been able to. They were outside the world, heading to a huge, almost infinite black ocean, with the hope of getting to a new home safely.

Tyler and Marla began feeling better one with the other, and eventually began trusting each other more than the professional trust kind of trust, and they started feeling something more.

Time passed, and the two fell really in love with the other, they were some kind of modern perfect couple, and all they had to do to find each other was leaving the Earth.
