Dalí
Last
Thursday we visited the Dalí museum, which used to be a theatre back in the
1940s. We went to Figueres after we had been working on a piece of Dalí’s art
for two days in a row.
First
of all, I think it’s fair to say that Salvador Dalí had a very unique
perception of art called surrealism as we could appreciate just looking at the
architecture of the building with its eggs and breads. Later on, we enjoyed a
tour through the entire museum looking around Dalí’s art.
Although there wasn’t the picture I had focused on those previous days I could
recognise others because my classmates had explained them and the woman guide
was clarifying our doubts.
So,
we learnt more about Salvador Dalí and the surrealism movement. In addition, I
spent a good time trying to imagine and guessing the meaning of each picture.
But, the main thing is that there was an exhibition of photos with his funny
moustache.
