THE DAY WE MET CATHERINE LEDESMA
Some days ago we could talk to a girl from
Oxted school who is Catherine. She was born on 20th January and she
is 15 years old. She doesn’t have brothers or sisters, she has two cats and her
favourite food is pizza. Her favourite subject is PE and she plays hockey on an
astroturf, tennis, basketball and other sports and she is a fan of Manchester
City.
Talking about Barcelona she has visited Sagrada
Familia, Parc Güell and other places, but what she has enjoyed more is the
Sitges’ beach. Then, she prefers Barça than Madrid, and she also prefers BCN’s
weather than the England one. She explained that in Oxted she has dinner at
20:00h, goes to bed at 22:30 and wakes up at 7:30h, so there’s a difference
between our city. There they have 12 subjects and of the all foreign languages
they just learn Spanish. Their classes and houses are bigger than ours. When
the people do something bad the teacher sends them out of the class. She
recognized that British people are more serious than us.
After that she talked about what she liked and
she said that she loved Starbucks, she buys her clothes in H&M, TopGear is
her favourite TV show, she likes cupcakes, the kind of music she enjoys
listening is pop, etc.
She’s visited Australia, America, Malaysia, Málaga
during all her holidays, and she’s been to a lot of places because her father
travels a lot who is a man similar as a teacher of university.
With her friends she said that they had done a lot of
birthday parties in their respective houses.
When she grows up she wants to be a football
coach.
Finally we said goodbye to each other. It’s
true that we didn’t pass much time with Catherine, but we could know a lot of
her personality and the most important was the we became very good friends.
