Ice Bucket Challenge
The
video we have seen in class I think shows really well the problem “ice bucket
challenge” has.
The
“ice bucket challenge” was been iniciated by Corey Griffin this summer with the
purpose of increasing donations for research into ALS. The movement has become
very popular and about two months later all the word knows what it is
As the children in the video say, many
people do the challenge because of popularity and they don’t give money to
ALS’s association. That suggests that people don’t care about the finallity
because it don’t provide nothing special to them, but they are interested to
look like generous people.
Another
comment in the video has made me think is the “ice bucket challenge” is a
way to waste water. I don’t think so. In summer almost everyone uses water to
beat the head, and the water is used with the finallity of the challenge don’t
influence in other countries are situated across the world.
In
conclusion, the “ice bucket challenge” has been a great idea to aware people
about this uncommon disease, but it hasn't contributed to charity as Corey
Griffin and ALS patients were expecting.
