MY TRIP TO NEW YORK
My best memorable experience is my trip to New York City. We travelled
to ‘’The Big Apple’’ in 2009, and we stayed there for ten amazing days.
While
we were arriving by plane, I could see through the little window, all the
skyscrapers, bridges and the Liberty Statue. We were all glad to be in the city
that never sleeps.
During those ten days that we were in New York, we visited
lots of places: we went to the top of the Empire State Building and we could
see all the city, and people and cars looked like ants while we were at this
107th floor!
We also
visited the Rockefeller building, but we had a night view of the city, we were
astonished! We spent an afternoon in Central Park, a huge park situated in the
middle of Manhattan; it is as big as Sant Andreu district. There were some lakes
and lots of trees, and also lots of nice squirrels living there! It was very
funny to feed and touch them.
We also visited some districts like Harlem,
Brooklyn and his beautiful bridge and the Bronx.
Our hotel was situated next to
Times Square, so we often went there to have dinner and to have some walks at
night. I tried the best cheese cake in the world, at Junior’s, a very nice and
familiar restaurant on Brooklyn, it was delicious!
We had our last dinner in a
restaurant that was at the top of a skyscraper, and it was a big circle that
revolved around itself, so you could see all the city at night and your view
was changing constantly.
We were delighted after that night and we were also
upset because we were leaving the following day.
When our plane took over I was
looking at the city, as we arrived, hoping to come again to the city that
never sleeps, an amazing place.
