My own pet
peeves
Everyone has their own pet peeves, but the question is
and you? What is your worst pet peeve? I think it’s a difficult question
because we know what annoys us, but the worst pet peeve is a strong word.
First, I’m going to tell my own pet peeves. I think
that they could be: when you are walking down the street and suddenly you
stumble for no reason. It’s only because the sole of your shoe is wrong, but
why? Nobody knows it.
Another pet peeve is when you are thinking that you
want something that is in another room and when you arrive there you can't
remember what you wanted. Doesn’t it?
Or when you are walking at home quietly and you pass
close to a door and you can’t keep walking because your pants were hooked on
the doorknob. But the problem is that first you don’t know why can’t you keep
walking, so you try not to stop but it’s impossible and then you look the
doorknob and you see what was happing and you need to go back and walk your
steps again. And this is annoyer when you are late, I promise.
What else? When you really want something, like a glass
of cold water and when you arrive home the water bottle is out of the fridge.
And you think why the last one that drinks water doesn’t put it in the fridge
again.
Another one is when you are doing a project with the
computer and you think that it's best to save it in case your computer crashes
and when you click the button of “save” it crashes. Luckily some times when you
open the program again it has saved your project but sometimes it doesn’t, and
if you were ending the project and you never save it or you save it when you
where in the middle of the work, you would have to do it again.
Finally, I’m going to ask you. What do you think about
it? Has this ever happened to you? Pet peeves are personal things but the most
of the time are the same for some people. I think the most annoying things are
the ones that aren’t your fault. Isn’t it? So, after these examples could you
answer the first question? What is your worst pet peeve?
