MALALA YOUSAFZAI-NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2014. Abel M. (3 ESO A)

EDUCATION

Education is learning. But learning what? Learning English, math, etc ... but also learning how to live and to be a good person. Everyone should have education because the future of all of us depends of it. We are nothing without having knowledge and we need to be educated to have a good life.

It is true that the majority of children go to school but not everywhere is like that. There are many places in the world that children can’t go to school and girls can´t go to school because it’s prohibited. There are several reasons why children can’t go to school, for example in some parts of the east, as I said, the Governments have prohibited girls to go to school but why? I think this is very unfair because education is for everyone, all the people must have education because we are all equal. There are some rules in some countries that must be changed because harm the human good.  Another type of example would be that some parents prefer that their child doesn’t go to school and go directly to work in the fields or wherever. I also think that these kids should go to school because when they will be older, they will be able to work in a job better than their parents. The last example that I can put is that there are also many children who can’t go to school because their parents can’t pay it because they haven’t got money.  We can help them giving money to ONG or other organizations for the right to education.

Yusafzai Malal is a girl who's been fighting for civil rights. She was born in Pakistan and in this
Country girls can’t go to school. She fought to go there but some people weren’t agree.  She was shot because she was in favour of civil rights and she nearly die, but she was rescued and moved to London, where she lives. She hasn’t given up and the girl continues fighting to get their goals. Thanks to his actions she has won the Nobel Peace Prize.

In conclusion, education is very important for people, it doesn’t matter if they are boys or girls, if they are from a rich country or a poor country, if they live in a modern city or a very small village.
All of us  have the obligation to fight for  people, whatever the reason, they can’t have education, as Malala did.
