UNITED STATES EXCHANGE
I have travelled to
many places during my life but going to the United States has been the most awesome
one. The trip started with eight hours and a half on a plane that were really
long. When I reached Washington I was really nervous for meeting my exchange
partner and the other ones. It was a really nice welcoming with some big
welcome banners, hugs and presents. It was nice!
The
first two days we did classes in the school. They were really boring but we
could see how their school days are and how is the education. I saw that it is
really bad compared with our education. All the students using their Ipads in
class, doing what they want and not paying attention. Well I have to say that
this happens depending on the teacher.
After
these two days, we started to sightseeing. We went to Annapolis, the capital city of Maryland. It was a really nice
city with a very charming harbour. We also went to Washington to see big
museums, huge buildings and monuments like the White House or the Lincoln’s
monument. We also walk around the fabulous Chinatown.
Also,
I have met a lot of new people and I have made some new friends, but for me I
have found like a second family. I have spent a lot of time with them and I am
really grateful for how they have treated me. They have done a lot of things
for me, like carrying me to a NBA match or taking me to New York as I have said
before. It was a nice experience to be like the older brother because all they
were younger than me, including Erik because he is 16 in November. It has
been a new experience for me.
In conclusion, I have
to say that this travel has made a place in my memory for all my life for all
the experiences that I have lived there and I don’t know if I will be able to
repeat again.
