TED TALK: The best kindergarten you have ever seen Núria C. (2n batx B)

On this original Ted Talk, the architect Takaharu Tezuka explains to us an innovative kindergarten in a school in the city of Tokyo. The explanation of that man was very curious and comic, with many images and videos of the construction and the children playing on it. From the Ted Talk, I would like to remark on many aspects.

First of all, Takaharu mentions that the main objective of the kindergarten is that the students experience the advantages and disadvantages of life, in a real society and in contact with nature, one of the most important things we have. From my point of view, this school is amazing, boys and girls can fully develop their imagination, as well as different kinds of intelligence: artistic, scientific… The characteristic that I most like from the project is the rope around the trees, the structure of the rook with a round shape, so the children can run all they want. Another aspect that impacts me is the classrooms, where there is no boundary between outside and outside and there is no acoustic barrier. This is very important so children can develop interest, decisions to difficulties and also concentration.

To conclude, this Ted Talk and the idea of the kindergarten was amazing. I hope one day we could make a similar project in our city!
