Italy 2016
Two
weeks ago, before Easter, we went on a school trip to Italy to commemorate our
last year at school.
We
left Barcelona on Friday at 6 o'clock in the afternoon and arrived in Pisa on
Saturday at about 7 o'clock in the morning. I had already been in Pisa, and I
hadn't slept much on the bus, so barely moved around to sightsee the place.
Pisa was probably the visit I enjoyed the less during the trip.
We
visited much more cities or villages, such as Lucca, Siena, Padua or Venice,
but my favourite, even though I had already been there, was Florence. Everybody
talks about Venice and its canals, but Florence has its own beauty. What I like
the most about Florence is that it doesn't matter where you are, if you look up
you're probably going to see the campanile, so it's quite difficult to get lost
around the city, and if you can't see the campanile, you're probably next to
the river, so you always have a reference to place yourself.
What
I'm going to remember through the years about the trip are some specific
moments, you can't remember everything you have visited during an entire week
in which you have slept a lot less than what you should, the best moment of the
trip was going downstairs at the campanile, there were a lot of stairs, but we
started singing Fondo Flamenco's most famous song and it was incredibly funny,
people looked at us really weird but also laughed with us, the stairs were very
narrow and it was an hilarious situation, shout out to Aida and Javi for
knowing the lyrics of the song.
To
end this writing, I'm going to get serious for a minute to thank you for giving
us the chance to enjoy this amazing trip!
