Dear
Francis,
Not long
ago I came across with an article which described the personality of men
according to their hairstyle. I’m not the kind of guy who puts a lot of
attention into these things but this particular article caught my attention.
This
article described the personality that the "owners" of that hairstyle had. The
article included hairs from an afro style to a man bun or a top knot. They
describe their personality but it seems a description more stereotyped than an
actual description according to some research.
One example of this is the
classic side parting type of hair. In the article it says that this type of
hair is used by persons who are traditionalist and like to play it safe.
The article
caught my attention in the first place because of this. This kind of prejudice
may influence a person who actually believed this. This kind of article foments
this and it’s a misconception of people’s personality.
In my
opinion physical appearance is just the facade of a person and as a facade it
can be adorned with things that don’t go accordingly to the interior of it. So
trying to define a person for their hair that it isn’t even their whole facade
is just a thing for those who are superficial and ignorant.
So what do
you think about this? Do you think the same as me or is your opinion different?
I hope to hear from your answer soon.
