ITALY 2012: THE BEST TRIP OF MY
LIFE
On
23rd March we went to Italia by bus. It was 15 hours. At first, it looks
tired, but if you are with your school friends, it is worth and you will enjoy
this trip.
The
second day, we visited Uffizi Gallery in Florence and then Rocío, Judit and I went
to the Dome, but a man said to us that it’s only opened on Sunday. So we
decided to visit the campanile. It was a tiring and fun experience. Our teacher
of Catalan had notified us that bells could ring while we were at campanile,
but we thought that it wasn’t probably.
But
when we were having a rest on the 3rd floor, suddenly the bells
started to ring very hard and we got the fright of our life!!! Rocío shouted
and then we burst out laughing because we remembered our teacher.
After
climbing up 408 steps (we counted them), we could enjoy the wonderful and
breathtaking sights and we gazed open-mouthed at the view. That day it was good
weather and we could see all Florence.
Then,
we asked a man if he could take us a photo. He was an old British man who may
be a retired person and he was with his wife. When the kind man was going to take
the photo, I realized that he was very pleasant because instead of saying to us
“cheese”, he said “Le Tre Grazie”. An that moment we smiled and he took the
photo. I think that it will be the most original sentence that somebody will
say to me for a photo. It could be hard to grasp that a simple sentence can
make you a smile; even though you are tired!
But
it is only one of the many experiences of Italy. I’m sure that I will never
forget this overwhelming trip because it is rewarding for all your efforts and
it is an experience not to be missed!
