Saving Energy
Hello, good
morning.
As director of Jesus, Maria i Josep school, I’ve decided that this
year we will participate in a campaign about saving energy, to change the world
and save to our money and material. And, specially for the students and the
families of this students, awareness that is very important to do these
activities for the future.
The campaign
consists, for three months, of saving electricity, water and many other things,
also funny activities to awareness for the importance of the world and the
life. If all of this campaign goes well, and saving is greater, we do the same
in the rest of the year.
Some of the
ways to save are:
- In the school hours that we have more sun, the fourth and fifth hours of the day, we turned off the lights and open the blinds to take daylight. Thus, we save lights and florescent not to break down so quickly.
- All papers that aren’t useful for whatever reason, for example because they’re wrinkled or written draft, leaving them in a specified space for recycling, and when we need a paper for a draft, we use one of those. Thus we help to reduce deforestation and not spend money on books.
- In the bathrooms there will be installed a mechanism of chains for two buttons to adjust the quantity of water that we use in each time.
- The powers of the source of the playground will be modified to not leave much water at once, since much of that water is wasted. Thus, we save water.
- In the computer room, we turn off the computers that aren’t used in the moment. Thus we save energy and electricity.
- In the technology room, we turn off the tools that aren’t used in the moment. Thus we save energy and electricity.
