Sailing down the Sella River
In summer, I go to the border of
Cantabria and Palencia. In this place I meet a people from Valencia and Bilbao
that are also going to this little village. One day, we went to Arriondas and
we sailed down the Sella river, I went with other two boys in the kayak.
First
of all, all the time we were circling because we didn’t coordinate, when we separated from friends and parents, we stopped for swimming. The water was
very very cold, then we started again, in the river we saw big fishes. In the
middle of the route, in one bridge, people were jumping into the water, I didn’t
do it.
Later, in one faster point, more people
overturned, we were on the brink to overturn but we saved when another kayak crashed with us, one kayak was going with us to overturn but it didn't.
When
we passed this tram, we stopped and waited for the other friends, while we were
waiting a last kayak, my friend said that their kayak had passed and we ran to get them.
Finally we went to have dinner at a restaurant and returned to Cordovilla de
Aguilar.
In the afternoon the boys,
played at Play Station and at night, all children went to see a stars rain (Lágrimas
de San Lorenzo), that night I saw six shooting star.
At 00:30 I went to sleep.
