THE IMPOSSIBLE
My favorite
film is “The Impossible” because I think that this film is very spectacular and
dramatic. This film is based on the true experience of a Catalan family during the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
It tells the
true story of a Catalan family, when they start their Christmas vacation in
Thailand, passing a few days in a hotel in tropical paradise. However, the
holidays are interrupted when in the morning of 26 December 2004, while the
family was in the hotel pool, a devastating tsunami dirty water invades the
precinct so the family separates and begin to look for each other. Underwater,
the mother is hit by runes to leave it ready to die, she holds catch the trunk
of a palm, and thinking that it has lost all the family. That's when his oldest
son, appears a few meters below the surface.
The film shows
what characters do to survive the impact. The mother and the old son end in
hospital because she has a serious injury in leg, while the father and two
children stay at the hotel without knowing if the others are alive. The father
sends the children to a haven while he runs the hospitals and relief centers
looking for his wife.
I love this film because it is
very beautiful and dramatic and I like dramatic films. The movie wasn’t
disappointing at any time because it’s entertaining all the movie. I like this
movie by the fact of the force that this family has in time to survive. My
favorite part is when the oldest son finds with his mother and the final of the
film.
