“El Collell 2015”
The week of the 12th October, after we had
a three days weekend, we went on a school trip to “El Collell”, a rural house
close to Banyoles, to make some group activities, intended to make better the
relationship between all the students of 1st Batxillerat.
The trip began on Wednesday at 8 A.M., when we all met
at the school. We were all ready for the trip to begin, and we got into the
school bus pretty excited. After more than two hours on the road, we stopped to
have breakfast while we got a little into a small forest that was there.
After this quick break, that lasted at much thirty
minutes, we went into the bus again and got to the house pretty fast.
When we got there, we had some free time and the
teachers gave everyone their rooms, and we had a small time to get ourselves
settled in our rooms. Some great activities were awaiting for us!
We did an “Adventure Circuit” where we had to climb
and walk on some moving floors at different heights with a harness and a pulley
to not fall down. We also had to jump on the zip wire. We also did a group
dynamic where we discussed some things that the instructors asked us.
We also went on a bicycle trip, that was pretty tough
in my opinion, and we got – if we wanted – to get inside a river that was
really cold, I’d say water was close to 5º. I got into the water with a couple
of partners and I’d definitely do it again. It was so funny!
One of the funniest activities that we did was the
Laser Tag, where we divided our group in two teams and we had to go and “kill”
the other team before they did the same to us. It was pretty funny and
challenging!
After that we went and we drove quads, which was
pretty amusing, it was the first time that I had driven one and even I have so
much to learn, I felt pretty comfortable and confident. A couple of friends
dumped their quad, and almost got injured, but nothing happened and it was just
a funny time!
So this is pretty much all we did in “El Collell”,
besides the teachers explaining us the “Treball de Recerca”, and we did a test
so the teachers can make a sociogram, to build the base groups to work in
class.
It was a pretty good time but I don’t know if I’d do
it again, I ended up pretty tired even though it was funny.
