MY SCHOOL
Our school is a religious concerted school located in
Sant Andreu, Barcelona. In our school we can’t use mobile phones in any moment
of the day. We don’t have to wear any school uniform, that is something very
nice.
We study (in my level 3 ESO) Catalan, Spanish,
English, Maths, science, history & geography, religion, music, technology,
and expression workshop. We also have 2 hours a week an optative class, where
we can choose between German, entrepreneurship, and review. We don’t have so
much homework, because we end the classes at 5:15, so we don’t have much time
every day. I think we have the same number of exams that in other schools, we have
exams in the middle and on the end of the term. These exams are called “preavaluació”
and “evaluació”.
Normally we have 5 days of school every week and 2
free days, the weekend, but some weeks we have a free day for some festive day,
and we have 2 free weeks for Christmas and 1 free week for Easter. Finally we
have 2 months and 3 weeks of holidays in summer, the bad part of that is that
it is very difficult to adapt again to school after all this holidays time like
you know L.
Every day we start school at 8:15 and we have lunch from 13:30 to 15:15. We
finish school at 17:15. On Tuesday we leave school at 14:30 and on Friday at
13:30.
I really like my school because I think it’s the best
level school in my area, and I like that you can stay at this school from 3 to
18 years old because some people say that it is so difficult to change your
school. I also like the teachers, because they are always disposed to hear your
personal and school problems and search a solution.
