"ONE CHILD, ONE
BOOK AND ONE TEACHER
CAN CHANGE THE WORLD"
Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female
education and the youngest winner of Nobel Prize, won it in 2014 and shared
with Kailash Satyarthi. She is mainly known for supporting human rights and
girls education, because in Pakistan it’s banned.
She was hit with one bullet, which went through her
head, neck, and ended in her shoulder. Two other girls were also wounded in the
shooting: Kainat Riaz and Shazia Ramzan, while they were in the school bus
returning home. They were operated in Pakistan and few days later, Yousafzai
flew to England to rehabilitating her. She still has the scars. Now she is
studying in Birmingham, England, writing a blog and being an activist for
rights to education and for women.
She has won Pakistan Peace Prize in 2011, “Premi
Internacional de Catalunya” in 2013 for her determination and courage in the
defence of human rights.
In my opinion,
she is very strong and clever because she is able to support the human rights
for all women around the world. I also think she had to effort to have a good
education. For me, it’s really difficult to imagine that girls in Pakistan
can’t have an education because of the Talibans. So I hope Malala’s work will
be appreciated and admired for everybody, and serve to improve Pakistan girls
education and respect humans rights.
