Social
networks are very common around the world, people use them daily and they are
becoming every time even more popular. They have lots of different uses, to
share photos, to talk with your friends, or maybe to meet new people. And, like everything, if you don’t use these
sites properly they can be bad or even harmful. But anyway, I completely
disagree with this statement.
I disagree
because they are designed completely to be used the other way around; they are
very useful to meet new people or to keep in touch with old friends or the ones
you make occasionally like in a party or concert. For example 4 years ago I
went on a cruise where I met lots of new people from other countries and right
now we are still following each other in Instagram and sometimes we even talk.
But as I
said before, they can also be harmful, if you do an abusive use of them and you
use them just to look at mems and stuff like that, as videos or any other
useless game.
But even
though some people use them incorrectly, most of the people give them a
profitable use like for watching the news or to work. So in general they are
very beneficious for our society and the statement of “social networks are
anti-social” can only be applied to a part of it.
