TRAVELLING. Jordi B. (1r batx A)

Does travel broaden the mind?

People usually take advantage of their vacations travelling, even to make a one-day trip or a short journey. They do it for fun or only to meeting new places. But the question is: Does travel broaden your mind?

When you go on holidays to any place, you know how it is because you have gathered information about that and you have seen it in pictures, films, news, books, etc. You can wrongly think that you know everything about that site. When you do the travel, you learn how uncultivated you are.

I’ll put the example of London. Many people think that the traditional dish in London is fish and chips. That’s obsolete because now is the curry.

When you visit a new place, you learn about different customs, you taste new foods, you see different landscapes, you learn words of other languages… You absolutely have to broaden your mind travelling!
