Paperman
Paperman has been chosen the
Oscar-winning short film. According to most of critics, the film has won the
Oscar award because of its originality.
First of all, lots of people say
that it’s one more film in the middle of thousands and thousands of love films.
But, anyway, other people, especially those who agree with the award of the short
film, think that this short movie, following the typical topic of cinema, love, it’s not like the others because this story is quite different explaining
all through animated cartoons in black and white, and it also
doesn’t use words or voices, and it’s a different kind of story from the others.
It’s a story of a man and a woman
who fall in love from the first moment. At this point of the short film,
everything is like in the typical love movies, but then, the couple meet again
because the paper planes make them go to the station where they met. That fact
makes people think that the paper planes symbolize the fate, which make lovers
be together if it has to be this way.
For that reason, it’s a beautiful
love story that shows more than we can imagine. And as it’s different from other love stories, everyone agrees with the fact that it has won the award.
