Ice Bucket Challenge
This
challenge lays in throwing on you a bucket with water and ice to make the water
very cold. And the reason of this challenge is to make people aware of an illness
called ALS. This illness means Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. For example Stephen
Hawking has this illness.
A lot of people have
done this challenge including important people like George W. Bush and Obama or
actors like Patrick Stewart (the teacher of X-Men) Miley Cyrus or Charlie Sheen
(of Two and a Half Men). But in Spain people do the challenge but don’t donate
money to the cause (Spain is always different).
I myself have
made the challenge and I donate $ 10 to the charity of this illness. And
after I nominate my father and two friends and one of them is Aitor but they still
haven’t done it. I’m angry with them until they do it!
So where there
are lots of people doing the same thing there are always lots of "ice
bucket challenge fails". These videos are very funny! There are videos of
people who drop their bucket full of water to the head (it has to hurt a lot!) There
are also videos of people being wet after challenge slip and fall to the ground.
Even videos of people pulling water with an excavator like a waterfall and the
excavator just giving them in the head. But one that makes me laugh a lot is
one that is going to throw the bucket to another and it just pulling himself.
It is also true
that there have been accidents with this challenge and some people and some
people have ended up in the hospital so be careful with doing stupid things can
end badly.
