ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE. Ricard C. (2n BATX B)

The ice bucket challenge

The ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a degenerative disease. It doesn’t allow the move to sick people. It wasn’t  too “popular” before the viral of the ice bucket challenge.

Probably, the most famous patient is Stephen Hawking.

The challenge consists of throwing a bucket of cold water over your head. The water must be very cold to simulate ALS patients feel. When the person has finished. he should nominate three people, those who have been nominated have 24 hours to accept the challenge or they will have to donate X dollar for ALS.

Well, that’s fantastic, even better when famous characters take part of this viral and it became to be trending toping. But there is one problem, if everyone does the challenge, who will donate money? Another dramatic question is the next one, some (I say some but I could say many) famous people announce they will donate money, and after all they simply don’t do it.

I really think that people should donate (if they want of course) by himself or herself , and not because of a challenge. The ALS has been living with the humanity for long years, why people didn’t think to donate money five years ago?

The answer is many of the persons who have done the challenge are “posers”
