WRITING ABOUT THE FUTURE
In a
thousand years, everything regarding our lives and our world will have
drastically changed. From the Earth’s environment, weather, fauna, flora… to
our means of transport, communication, cities and education; it will all change.
Due to the
impact of global warming and climate change, the weather will have probably been
altered. The temperature might raise a few degrees which may make scientists
develop some new ways of countering heat. Nature as we conceive it might not continue
being the same because of human behaviour, and many biomes and ecosystems will
definitely disappear.
In terms of
urbanization, we should expect the construction of exceptional buildings and
skyscrapers, as well as the creation of huge cities with limitless facilities
and amazing means of transport. In that time, flying cars might be a reality
and other supersonic, optimal and new ways of transport will allow you to
travel anywhere in the world.
Another big
impact will be on society and education. Students will be
able to access to an unimaginable amount of information from anywhere at any
time. They will also work and study from last generation devices which should
make their education easier, accessible and simple.
In
conclusion, our future will be mostly conditioned by climate change and the
development of new technologies, which will help us in our daily routine
optimizing our time.
