FIGUERES 2012. Marta Q. (1r batx A)

TRIP TO FIGUERES

Last Friday we went to visit the Dalí museum which is in Figueres. We arrived there at approximately ten, then we had breakfast and came to the museum. The museum had the facade filled of croissants (in our tutorship work we made croissants too, but these were better) and had eggs in the roof. There we were separated in three groups, either one with a different guide. The guide of my group was a little bit… crazy, she (I don’t remember her name) was bizarre like Dalí. But with hers odd humor and her jokes made the visit more enjoyable and the time passed very fast.

In the museum we could see a lot of Dalí paintings, such as a portrait of his wife Gala (in the portrait she appears showing her breast, she was a very provocative woman…)  or a picture of bread, which had a golden sculpture too, but I have to say our bread of paper is cooler, and it’s more realistic.

After seeing the famous bread we went to another room where there were a sofa, a chimney and other furniture and if you looked from one place, you saw the face of a woman: the sofa was the mouth, chimney was the noise, etc.

When the visit finished, we went to eat with our friends and had time to see Figueres, which celebrated its festivals and there was old people dancing “sardanas”. Eventually, we went to the coach and returned to Barcelona.

And then I say that I’m a mature woman… Yes, so adult…
