DON'T FEEL
AFRAID
When last week, you told me to write an essay about a horror story, a
chill shot through my body. I’m going to tell a real story that happened to me
few years ago...
Three or four years ago for this time, when I did extra school English,
my teacher told me to write a horror story too, because it was Halloween time. I
didn’t have too much inspiration, so I decided to look some scary videos in
Youtube, and I remember that it started to happen strange things, like the
videos stopped by themselves, the computer turned off the volume... and
suddenly the lights turned off. With all my fear, I went to see what had
happened but I didn’t find the solution, also my parents weren’t at home. So I
had to write my essay by hand, with the light of two candles, with all my fear
for any sound I heard and without any kind of inspiration...
When the teacher turned my essay, I had failed because it wasn’t
original and had a lot of grammar mistakes. I tried to excuse myself by saying
what had happened to me but she said that it was all excuses and I only wanted
to make her feel afraid... With my big bad temper I wished that something wrong
happened to her because I wanted her to know what it was really to be afraid
A week later, the English academy director went to my class and said
that Katie, that's she how was named, wouldn’t come to class anymore. And to my
own surprise, at the news, there appeared that it had been found a girl, about
20 years old, dead in a shared flat in St Andreu, the profile corresponded to
Katie... Since this day I haven’t come back to this academy....
I wish you like my essay and I got a good qualification because I wouldn’t
like that what occurred to Katie, will happen again...
