Águila Roja (Red
Eagle)
Red Eagle is an
adventure television series which is produced by Spanish Television (TVE). The
broadcast is on Thursdays at 22:30 to 23:45.
The series is
set in Spain, in the seventeenth century, during the reign of Philip IV. He had
the two protagonists (Hernán
Mejías and Gonzalo de Montalvo)
as children of a woman who seduced, Laura Montignac.
Gonzalo de
Montalvo, the main character, is the teacher of the village but also is Red
Eagle.
There Satur, tries to discover the past of Gonzalo and his mother. On
these travels take place very interesting stories.
There are a lot
of secondary characters as Margarita (sister-in-law of Gonzalo); Cipriano and
Catalina (friends of Gonzalo); Alonso de Montalvo (son of Gonzalo); Gabi and
Murillo (friends of Alonso); Juan de Calatrava (ex-husband of Margarita);
Lucrecia de Santillana (duchess); Nuño de Santillana (son of Lucrecia and
Hernán); Francisco Mendoza (cardinal); Irene Mendoza (niece of Francisco
Mendoza and husband of Hernán)...
