Not all
love stories have to begin well. They just have to end with a happy and
memorable ending or, even better, without ending.
A lot
of love stories happen when people are travelling, for example: in a language
exchange. This is the case of this real love story. It
is about two guys who met in Chicago. The girl was from there and the boy from
Catalunya. They were from 1999 so they were still teenagers, discovering what
love is about.
The
first day that they saw each other didn't think they would fall in love. They fell
in love on the second day... Maybe it was because when the Catalan arrived, he was
trying not to fall asleep. Anyway, the second time was the important one. It
was when they started speaking, trying to be friends. However, both of them
knew already they wanted something more. The crucial day was the skating day.
The Catalan guy, who knew how to skate, taught her. They held their hands for
all the 2 hours of the activity. It was an amazing time for them. All the people
around were jealous. After that day, they chatted on WhatsApp every night. The
last days in Chicago were awesome, both guys were showing sample of their love
in every moment: always going together, giving hugs to each other when they
could and holding hands all the time. Unfortunately, during this part of the
trip there wasn't the kiss. They had to wait two eternal weeks before seeing
each other again.
They
met again in Barcelona. The boy was decided to kiss her before they would
probably split for the rest of their lives. It was difficult to see each
other during the morning because she was visiting the city with her teachers.
Nevertheless, they met all the afternoons. They were cuddling in every moment
but the kiss was not coming yet. The last day arrived and the boy was decided
to make the first step. It was the day of "El Clasico". All the
students decided to watch the match in the same bar. In the half time the boy
took her hand. They walked through the park next to the bar and stopped in
front of a bench. They didn't sit down. They looked into their eyes. They
seemed nervous, their hearts were beating strong. Finally the guy prepared his
lips and moved his face closer to her. She did the same, the perfect moment
began. They stayed in the park for more than two hours! Unfortunately that
moment had to end.
The
following day was the coming back fly. Both were very sad. They said goodbye
with an endless kiss. The boy saw the girl leaving and he cried. The girl did
the same but he was backwards so he couldn’t see her face.
They
were depressed for a long time but, one month later, the girl sent him a
WhatsApp. She said that she wasn’t unhappy. She was euphoric due to his parent
told her something. They said her that they would go to live to Barcelona because
they had found a job there. She had more good news: She would be studying in
the same class of the boy.
That
was the beginning of this beautiful love story.
