The social network
When you told us that we had to do a beautiful
composition recommending you a film, I got a bit nervous because I think you’re
cinephilic woman so, it would be difficult to surprise you with an
extraordinary movie or just trying to think a movie that maybe you haven’t seen
yet, I don’t know if you have seen this film, so if you haven’t done it watch
it.
This movie is called: The social network, it talks
about how the most famous social network used nowadays around the whole world
was created. Starring by Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg creates a website
to rate girls from his university after split up with her girlfriend. Andrew
Garfield starring as Eduardo Saverin creates another website called FaceMash
where the university mates choose who is the cutest girl in Harvard. Mark
Zuckerberg website got too much visits so Harvard connectivity got overthrow.
Mark got the idea of creating a web called: “TheFacebook” that would connect
everyone in Harvard so he asked Eduardo to finance his work and he accepted.
The popularity of Facebook grew up really fast to other universities from the
United States, Mark and Eduardo met Sean Parker (Justin Timberlake) the creator
of Napster who said that they should quit the word “The” and live it just as
Facebook to do it simple. Mark and Sean got really on well while Eduardo was in
New York for signing a millionaire contract.
At the end, one day Eudardo discovers that Mark and
Sean have reduced his participations in Facebook so Eduardo demands Mark. Finally
Eduardo signed a contract with Mark to put again his name as being a cofounder
of Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg.
I like this film a lot because it tells us how many
problems and enemies you earn, unfortunately, when you win a lot of money in a
short period of time.
So, there is a nice sentence from the movie that says:
“You don’t get
to 500 million friends without making a few enemies”
