EASTER HOLIDAYS. Adrià R. (3r ESO C)

EASTER EGG

This year, on March 22, our school closed because it’s Easter, in Easter we celebrate the death and the resurrection of Jesucrist and in some parts of the world we have holidays.

And in these dates a lot of people have holidays and go to visit the world.  In my case this year I went to Rome and I liked it a lot, it’s very beautiful and there are a lot of things to visit.

In Rome there is another country, the Vatican City, it was very hot, but Francisco first was in the Vatican doing an Angelus and we were watching it in a big TV on the Vatican square, and later we went to S. Angelus castle and we saw the beautiful cities.

When the “Holly week” starts the Christians have the tradition to bless the branch of a tree. There is a tradition in Catalunya that our godparents give our “monas” this is a chocolate cake normally with a chocolate egg.

In Valencia, for example there are different kind of “monas” it is sweet bread with an egg to decorate; they also call it “pan quemao”.
