THE TREE. Clara M. (2n batx A)

Mother Nature gives you a tree

The video starts with images of such a crowded city in India. There’s a traffic jam, because a tree has fallen and the cars can’t carry on with their way. All the people looks sad and stressed. I like the images because there are a lot of details so different from my culture, which is always something that I enjoy watching.

Then, something happens. One child jumps off the bus with his uniform and his bag and walks to the tree. He starts pulling the tree, trying to move it, so the cars can move on. Nobody can believe what they see. A lot of children help the first child and the adults start leaving their cars and helping them. The rain starts to fall and everything gets wet, the raindrops on their faces don’t stop them what they want to do. And finally they get it.

People working together can face everything, and they could throw the tree out of the way. That’s why the sun starts shining and their clothes and faces are no longer wet. Because after the problems, after facing them with the help of other people, there comes the sun. And that’s the message that the video transmits.

After watching the video I searched in the internet what Lead India was. It is an eco-friendly political party in India. I think the idea they wanted to show to the voters was that they are a party who work together respecting the environment. That’s why people work together and happy in the video, and that’s the meaning of the important big tree in the middle of all of that chaos. Mother Nature wanted to stop all those people who were not thinking in the world and in the environment, so she put the tree in the middle of all of them to make them think of what they were doing with their lives. It’s a message all of us should think about. What are we doing with our lives? Work together. Think of what is around you.
