THE TREE. Gabriel P. (2n batx A)

Is it possible to take all the sand from the beaches?

Is it possible to take all the sand from the beaches? Is it possible to empty the ocean? Is it possible to sink into nothing the war, the poorness, the fear, the pain and eradicate the crimes? Could be the world united in peace?

It’s difficult to imagine, however, I will try to explain you.

When you are walking along the street and you find a person who is sitting on the floor, holding her head with the hands, and crying, what do you do? Do you sit next to him, and do you try to know about her problem? Probably not. But why?

We usually think only about our problems or about the problems of people whom we have a good relationship. But we are not realizing that this is a selfish attitude or maybe we know it, however we don’t make anything to change it.

Another problem appears when a common problem appears. For example when a tree falls in the middle of the road and some cars can’t pass. People who are in the cars don’t make anything, because they think that the other people could do something. And nothing happens unless someone starts doing something.

This is the same that happens with pollution, recycling, poorness and some other things in the world. And is in our hands the possibility to change it. Start going out and smiling at all of the people that you see, make the world happier.

We can take the first grain of sand, and if somebody in other place does the same, world will change. We can sink into nothing the war and the poorness, we can empty the ocean if we like. But all of these things can be possible only with cooperation, the union of the humanity.

Is it possible to take all the sand from the beaches? Yes, but why trying to do that, if people aren’t smiling yet?
