My school trip to Madrid
My school trip to Madrid was fantastic. The three classes of 4t ESO went to Madrid and we stayed there for four days.
The trip began at 6 a.m. when we got into the bus. Everybody was excited during the journey which takes more or less 8 hours because we had to stop every two hours.
We had a lot of time to talk, watch movies in the Ipod and listen to a lot of music until you became deaf. Some people were also sleeping.
When we arrived at 14:00 h we had lunch and then we made a walk around place Cibeles, the Gran Via, place Sol etc.
During the rest of days we visited: Segovia, Alcalá de Henares, Zaragoza and the historic part of Madrid.
In Madrid we visited the Prado, which I like a lot. There were a lot of paintings that I enjoyed as “La condesa de Vilches” and “Las Meninas”. It was fascinating seeing how some boys who seem that they will get bored, there became interested in the pictures. We also went to El Escorial and to the Alcázar in Segovia where we climbed 200 stairs to see magnificent landscapes.
I think it was a beautiful experience that made us see a lot of culture and forced us to be self-sufficient with our money and our meals.
Definitely, going to Madrid was an unforgettable experience.
