MY SCHOOL PROFILE Álvaro N. (3r ESO A)

MY SCHOOL

My school is nice but old and it has primary, secondary and high school, so you can end your studies there before going to university. Our teachers are very friendly and close to us. It’s a great school! We don’t have to wear a uniform but we have to dress well and we can’t look scruffy or wear sporty clothes.

We have twelve subjects and the most important ones are Maths, Catalan, Spanish and English. There are some subjects, such as German and Entrepreneurship, which aren’t compulsory. In total we’ve got 31 hours of class a week; it’s a lot! We haven’t a lot of homework because teachers told us that they want us to study home instead of having so much homework.

The school year is divided in three terms. This year the longest term is the third one because Easter holiday is in early March, so I guess we will be so tired in June! The first lesson is at 8.15 and we finish at 17.15 except on Tuesdays and Fridays when we don’t we have class in the afternoons. There are two breaks a day to relax, at 11.15 for breakfast and at 13.30 for lunch.

In general, I love my school but my favourite time is in July, when the summer holiday starts!
